  2. iowa state's loss to northwestern ruined their season.
  3. I have my doubts, but we'll never know. didn't they storm the court the one time they beat us in Bramlage w the Beas? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qhmmf3sUIUU&feature=related the only time ksu has been there before against ku at bramlage. lol...well, there you go, that was their first time so they didn't act like they've been there before. had they beat ku this year, they wouldn't have done it, because they have been there before (once).
  4. holy [expletive], k-state just hacks the hell out of you, don't they?
  5. i'm in. haven't checked this forum in a while...has tim been traded the first 11 picks of the draft yet?
  6. tough to score 52 points in a half and lose. fire mcdermott please.
  7. i love it when teams let 25 seconds run off the shot clock before fouling at the end of games. so smart.
  8. or, you know, made more than 50% of their free throws.
  9. iowa state trying to come back against oklahoma. sure would like a few of those 18 turnovers back right now.
  10. also, iowa state fans are very frustrated right now as this was supposed to be a tournament team. they have two top 50 nba picks and will probably finish like 9th in the big 12.
  11. i agree, it obviously didn't matter. the one that set the crowd off was the one where aldrich went up after a lob to gilstrap (?) and just rode him to the ground out of bounds. after that, the crowd was on the refs for everything. then iowa state had a spurt of like three ticky tack fouls called against them in the second half over the span of like four possessions. i didn't think the game was very well officiated period.
  12. they probably just went out there hacking since iowa state can't make free throws. also, you might as well pressure garrett since he's the worst point guard in the country.
  13. i think that's just part of kansas' strategy. they just hacked the hell out of iowa state on saturday.
  14. so disgusted right now. brackins is just awful. awful. i keep thinking he's going to break out, but nope, just another 12-14 point game against some mediocre team on like 5-13 shooting.
  15. so annoyed with mcdermott right now. very sick of his "we'll play with the guys that want to be here" attitude. go back to the missouri valley to coach scrappy white guys that hustle. you need more than that to win in the B12. sounds like colvin's suspension may end early which is pretty embarrassing.
  16. man, iowa state missed a lot of three footers.
  17. How did your illini do in their bowl? abuck's an Iowa State fan. LOL. Well that explains a lot. your team played in a bowl where both teams stood on the same sideline. that's all there is to say, really.
  18. it's so adorable watching an option team try and run a 2 minute offense.
  19. i'd guess they'd be in the top 8 or so in next year's preseason poll. would help if spivea and bulaga came back obviously.
  20. well, i'll be a son of a bitch...i guess iowa is good after all.
  21. um usc won the saltine cracker bowl this year thank you very much.
  22. i can't believe people are still bitching about the colts pulling their starters after wes welker's leg exploded yesterday.
  23. i never said iowa wasn't cold and/or boring.
  24. right, except brett favre is old for his profession and retires every offseason, only to wait for another team to cater to his every desire and allow him to come back after skipping all of the hard work during the preseason, whereas urban meyer suffered a serious of significant health incidents that made him think he needed to retire - very early for his profession - but then reconsidered and a day later decided to take a leave of absence in hopes that he could improve his health in that way. in other words it's pretty much exactly the same thing except in just about every way possible. so, let me see if I can break this down into one off-the-cuff statement: he retired and then unretired. What famous NFL QB that ESPN loves has done that recently...let them think...it's right on the tip of my tongue... you two quit being bitter than meyer decided he'd rather win the nat'l title in the florida sunshine than lose to navy in cold, boring indiana.
  25. yeah, probably. lol.
