His "job" (as so much as he has one in college) is to play football. Punching isn't part of the game. Taunting has been for a very, very long time. the thing that annoyed me most about it was that it was some scrub back up doing the trash talking. i've played with/against those types of douchebags many times and they are the most obnoxious brand of football players.

You thought he would hit .226/.299/.382 in a platoon situation? i didn't think he would suck that bad, but i definitely thought there was a high probability of him sucking pretty bad.

the hand sanitizers are a buzzsaw...six straight wins. this could have all been avoided had you guys just been willing to slightly overpay for some of my players.

How does a 25 year old, fairly highly touted, Left hander get through waivers? I don't understand how this works. Are all GM's sent a fax when a player is put on waivers? Do they get a call from the league? Email? Maybe he was put on waivers at 3 am or something. I don't know. you really don't think this is how the waiver process works do you?

i can't believe people are entertained by/love zambrano. he's easily one of my least favorite cubs.

doesn't really sound like anything important to me. big deal, some town in florida discussed trying to get the cubs to move there. i just discussed trying to get the cubs to move spring training to my back yard with my brother. we both agree it'd be sweet. anyway, i don't know why you'd want to go from az to florida with all the rainouts and the distance between facilities. i do agree that the cubs park in mesa is BY FAR the worst facility in the cactus league though.

i don't think robert can promote norris to gain a start this week. he's being brought up to replace the DL'ed cook, who was not going to start again this week. as we've discussed before, you can't use your minor league system as an extended bench.

raw, i beat you head to head both times. for you to get in over me you'd have to finish with a better record...you'd have to finish 3-0 and me 0-3 for you to pass me.
