I'm not one of the massive DeRosa fanboys, but I think this is disingenuous. DeRo's been derailed by a wrist injury and that's still better than Bradley relative to their positions. Before his injury, DeRo was having another great year. derosa would have probably been playing rf had the cubs not signed bradley. -

derosa has an OPS+ of 96 this year. bradley is at 100. i mean, i know derosa is nicer to paul sullivan and whiter and what not, but i'm just sayin'. -
once again, the hand sanitizers assume their traditional spot in the championship game, but there's a new opponent this year. all of the saber metrics' starts this week are against pittsburgh, washington, san diego and the des moines east jv. hopefully my bats can outslug the speedy, slappy bats of the saber metrics (lame team name, by the way).

Yep.. wish the playoffs started sooner. Not making excuses, because my team sucks horribly. Wish we didn't have to wait to determine who was benching people, who may be sitting an extra day, etc. Wish it was in the terms of a normal week, not 2 weeks before the end of the year when the nobody's are playing. who has missed action for you this week? i think it's more of a problem the last week of the season...looks like i may miss out on a hanson start, plus i imagine hamels and de la rosa may have shortened outings over the next two weeks.

the system was so confused by the fact that zach duke was somehow not [expletive] terrible, causing a glitch.

wtf zach duke. has given up 7 or more hits in seven starts and now he pulls this BS.

well that sucks about halladay. pretty fortunate that he ended up with 14 points after giving up 11 friggin hits. and i was hoping for a negative start for duke going against one of the best offenses in the NL. can't feel too bad about where i'm at, but geez.
