    We have talked about SB points they are way undervalued in this league. I was hoping this would be changed in time for this season but apparently it was more important to make some rule changes but not others.

    Anyone that takes anything away from DirecTV is "good" by me.

    That's certainly good to hear. Once In Demand has it I would guess DishNetwork would as well, since thats where Dish gets all of thier pay-per-view stuff. I really hope this gets done soon, it would make my year.

    Well they are better than the current greys but the blues will always be my favorite, its boggling to me that there are so many people that dont like them. Thats fashion though I guess lol

    Ohh I see now, mooch bumped this. This was actually decided way back in December, it would have been nice if someone would have reminded us that this was changing before the draft. I didnt pay much attention to these boards in December. *sigh* oh well. I guess I can play the matchups that look best, 9 is still a pretty decent amount. 10 would be better. Our scoring periods run Monday - Sunday Im assuming right?

    The Blues were the best uniforms that the Cubs wore. I liked them better than the pinstripes. The greys are the most retched ugly things ever created and should be burned and the ashes should be thrown to the 4 corners of the earth. Anyone that likes the greys over the blues, you have to be collor blind... get your eyes checked. Im not suprised that DirectTV fanboy likes this move though.

    Please give the non-premium link. Last thing I heard about rules changes were that we werent going to be making any this year. Now all the sudden your making a huge one. I dont remember reading anything about this at all. The pitching changes thread was pretty much burried up until the draft and after it, and as far as I know is still burried (last post in that thread was Dec 26). Because no one has posted in it in quite a while. I never heard that any firm descion was ever made regarding this. I went into the draft with the assumption that no change was going to be made because nothing was ever said officially. No new rules change thread, no new pitching starts per period thread, nothing.

    If your going to make this change you may as well make the change to the value of SB as well.

    I read that as "Cubs decide not to sign Zambrano and allow him to become a freeagent". If our pitching is going to get better I guess its gonna have to come from the farm. He's gonna wind up somewhere else next year.

    I dont see how they think that last years rattings have bearing on what this years ratings will be. The WS ratings were high last year simply because the Cubs sucked horribly. We have a much better team and should be in contention all year, our ratings will probably be much better than the WS ratings this year. Seems like if you were an advertiser you'd want to throw your money behind the Cubs broadcast as opposed to WS. Maybe I missed the point but this seems pretty cut and dry to me.

    I think most Cub fans despise him. He hates us ever since Sandberg broke his precious record. I do like John Miller though.

    This situation scares the beegeesus out of me. I guess we all just have to pray that the new owners are good ones that have alot of money and are smart enough to run the team the right way (winning).

    I was going to triple them to 0.75 (and kill the defensive points and simplify the pitching points). But I think it's too late at this point since people have preranked players and won't be able to attend the draft. Ah ok, maybe next year.

    That's why I'm watching Gangs of New York on tv and following the game through Gameday. Yeah they dont appear to be real serious about winning it. Looks like the regulars will be out early.
