Why would they skip Hill that would make absolutely no sense at all. -
How? 1.60 WHIP 5.40 ERA That's flat out terrible. Woah there sparky, three errors and a horrible day in the field should also be factored into account on those stats. I bet Lou is going to have a field day with this kind of effort... YIKES! Hate to be in the locker room. You understand that errors don't contribute to ERA or WHIP, right? No they don't but without the errors, one could make a case that his ERA could have been lowered just by virtue of pitching deeper in the game. The errors extended the innings and raised his pitch count which contributed to Marquis only pitching 5 innings. That's what he's saying. Bah..he could have pitched longer and given up 5 more runs too. The what-if game is a dangerous game. Lets go on what he actually did. well, what he actually did was keep the team in the game. I agree! He did! He did keep his team in the game.

Apparently its the other way around. Who we got pitching tommorow? Hill? I have all the faith in the world that he will pitch a good game but this offense is probably gonna blow again. Hill is going to throw a CG shutout and still lose with this offense. LOL yeah I could see that happening

Well that was an unearned run correct? None of the walks scored? Marquis really hasnt been so bad, I mean I dont like 3 walks in an inning but if they dont score I really dont care about em.

Cubs have no offense against poor pitching Izturiz can now not even do 1 thing well, with 3 errors so far.

Why harp on DeRosa plenty of other people in this lineup sucking it up. Theriot's not exactly been tearing it up with his atbats either. He still leads the team in RBI's so give it a break.

Yeah, it's really a non issue to me. Floyd and Murton are both quality bats that are going to split time in the outfield. It's obviously not a true platoon. No reason for anyone to get upset about it being discussed in every game thread since there is somewhat of a platoon between two guys that will cut into one or the other's playing time. It's just going to happen. Yes its going to happen, and it sucks, and people are going to voice thier displeasure over it, thats what message boards are for.

Its very dissapointing what Lou is doing to Muton, I guess I can only hope Cliff has his usual injury soon so Murt can get some starts.

I have a problem with you using Branden Looper as a RP when he's starting Slainte. That needs to get fixed pronto, points removed. That aint right.

I hope Lilly can take advantage of the hugely wide strike zone. This ump is horrible.
