I'm in the Cards camp for this one. I don't like either of them especially, but I do like Pujols. If the Cubs can't win at all, and Tim Wakefield can't win it all then I'd settle for Albert claiming it. Once.
I won't blame the call unless the Angels lose in seven...therefore making it so they would have won the series. But I think the Halos are going to win it anyway. Scioscia is going to have his team pumped for the Anaheim games and the fans will be pumped too. You reckon they're gonna be pumped? Phew, if that was me it'd be Incredible Hulk time.
Those guys are just clogging the basepaths.... [-X (I jest) No, can I listen to the AFL anywhere? I'd gotten into a nice routine of putting on Minor League games on radio as I went to sleep, and it would be a nice way of continuing that. (Apologies if this is already covered somewhere)
I'll send you a brick. You send me $50. I promise it's from Wrigley. ;) If you, a cards fan, touched a brick, we'd have to stone you for sacrilige Handily, there's a lot of bricks knocking about for this at the moment. ;)
I'm too late to pick apart the list, but can I ask what happened at lunch to make you smarter? Is it the intake of food (fish, perhaps?) or something more/less sinister?
This is the first Cubs loss I've felt really disappointed about in a good while, which speaks volumes about my respect for Maddux. I just thought they had to come good once when we want to.
I thought that Livan thought he was a white guy that graduated from a cali college We don't know to the contrary yet. I'm taking this thread as a 'developing story' ;)
I agree. I don't not care to the point where I could stomach an absolutely ludicrous winner (Sergio Mitre, say) but there's cases (and good ones) for all three. Give it to Dontrelle.
Not only that, but the thinly-veiled criticism there was blown clean apart by the last sentence. Bad things are happening at the Sox, and its our job to enjoy it while its going on (while not focusing too much on it)
