    Congrats on your first game thread. May you have many other happy ones in the future. (Please! Not just for your sake) I wouldn't have done this, but my first was the St Louis one that snapped the 8-game loss streak, so I was WAY nervous.

    Every time I can't think of a word I either say 'glaven' (or derivative - "that was glavenly") or 'cromulent'. Never really use 'Doh', but I hear it a lot and have typed head-hitting smileys from time to time

    At the risk of taking this into Minor League discussions, Greenberg's return will probably be my game of choice. I'm getting quite attached to the DJaxx.

    Walker is hitting .322 with a .375 OBP in August, Perez is hitting .326 with a .383 OBP. Just throwing that out there. Oh, and Neifi's had 16 fewer ABs Neifi's hot streaks are so unreliable that I'm inclined not to rely on Neifi at all. No, I see that, I'm not defending Neifi especially - I go through that same stomach-plunge as everyone when he's at the plate, just throwing in a stat that could be used to defend him, or at least his selection of late.
