    Cubs to lost 3-2. Two Rich Hill solo shots give Cubs lead until 8th whereupon various members of bullpen walk in two runs and then Adam Dunn hits go-ahead and eventual winning homer in 9th. :roll:

    Damn. That's bad. Its not a dare I'd like to take up, either, really. Sad thing is, I can imagine it happening over Maddux/Williams games. No, I don't dislike them, but I sure as hell feel more jittery when they're on the mound.

    Oh, heavens above. I've been out watching football (soccer, perhaps) in the rain tonight, just keeping up with the score on my phone. I was vaguely impressed at half time.     Want to see Prior pitch well. That guy rules. Want to see personal gains for Ramirez, Lee and Nomar. Would like to see Murton. Don't much care beyond that. Optimism of yesterday gone.

    Looks like the 'not doers' are coming through strong. I've always wanted to fence, but that's not really a martial art anyway.

    I missed Hill's participation last night, but that's what I've seen so far. On his day - and he's had one or two (literally) in the bigs so far - his curve is demonic, but when he can't find it, equally prevalent so far, he's easy enough to sit on because his heat isn't top quality. As he develops, as I've no doubt he will, that's what he'll have to work on and will be already, I'm sure.

    GO CUBS!!!! If I'm staying up past midnight every night to watch you losers, you might as well make it worth my while!! And arguing that the return of Nomar is worth it won't cut the mustard. I demand a W. In other news, is there no pictures of Rich Hill chatting to Maddux during the game the other day? I liked that. The way Maddux was moving his arms and Hill was nodding it had an almost like Jedi-in-training look to it.
