    CUBS WIN! I take back my P29 comment saying it might be more. Boys came through good. Now 3-44 when trailing into the 9th, apparently.

    So I edited Henry Blanco in my MVP 2005 season so he wears number 24. Through 34 games he's batting .683 :lol:

    Yes boo to him for not knowing the words. But it is better that he had them up there to help than if he just hummed it. I don't know. I heard the 'singing' :) I kid - but he wasn't good.

    Thats why I could never be a mod. I get into too many altercations. Immagine if CT and I both became mods. It'd be a race to see who could ban who first. haha I want to be a mod... If its any consolation, I have a lot of respect for you based (first) on your avatar.

    :lol: Warning - comment more than vaguely unrelated and certainly not especially serious :lol: Soriano is my favourite player on Backyard Baseball. Man can that Little Leaguer hit! The commentators also pronounce his name in such a way that I would copy if he wound up at the Cubs, really bouncy. More serious part of comment Cubs really needs OBP rather than power, I would say. However, if the price isn't too high (I'd settle for getting rid of Corey) then do it - it certainly can't hurt.

    Yeah, he struck out THE ADMIRAL good. Sorry. Still can't get past this FSN Arizona broadcast/broadcasters. You do know why he's call the Admiral don't you? There is a reason behind it. Its more the way they shout it every time... very annoying.

    I'm going for a volume-free version. Ditto. How can we get Bob and Len? Or is that not possible? It doesn't seem to be possible. I'd have thought that MLB Radio would do the job... but I can't get the sound without the 'other' sound. Most frustrating. There must be a way....

    I was thinking "What about Neifi, man?" when I read about the DP aspect of Walker. Thanks for the stat. Oh, and for my pennies. T-Walk's been consistent this year. Not brilliant, not terrible, but good enough and certainly better than others both with the bat and in the field - though I do have a rather vivid memory of a ball going through his legs. That might have been a dream, though. Personal note - this is post 100. Go me!

    In former Cub news, Joe Borowski kept his D-Rays ERA at 0.00 with a 1-2-3 8th against the Boston Red Sox. Glad to see him getting it done, I am.

    NL has no curfew, so it's entirely up to the Cubs. We've had issues over start times with SF in the past. Is McGowan in the park tonight? Its nearly three in the morning, man! I wish I knew either way now.

    I'm watching, apparently, RAYSTV on MLB.tv. There'll be clips of it at MLB soo n, I would assume, its an article of its own now. Its not for the faint-hearted, either, its numbing.... it was just awful to watch.

    I was watching the game - started a thread in rivalries, didn't quite know where to put it - at the time. It looked really nasty. The sound and the way he dropped instantly. I'll pass on my good wishes here.
