I understand that, but have they even had anything to play for for a couple weeks? They had the lead on the 2 seed prior to this last stretch. That's huge in the grand scheme of things.

Here's what I think: SJ over Anaheim 4-1 Detroit over Columbus 4-0 St. Louis over Vancouver 4-2 Chicago over Calgary 4-1 Boston over Montreal 4-2 Washington over NY 4-0 New Jersey over Carolina 4-1 Pittsburgh over Philadelphia 4-3 Detroit over Chicago 4-2 SJ over St. Louis 4-1 Boston over Pittsburgh 4-2 New Jersey over Washington 4-3 Detroit over SJ 4-3 Boston over New Jersey 4-2 Detroit over Boston 4-1 I think the Hawks will beat anyone in a series except Detroit, however. So if they screw up, I really think the Hawks have a chance to win it all.

Last time the CUBS drew 8 walks in a game.... Sun 12 Apr 09 (10 walks) in an 6-4 win at Milwaukee Go CUBS !! during the dusty era you'd have to go back like 2-3 years to get 8 walks in a week. FTFY

More importantly, Lilly at 87 pitches through 6. He'll need an efficient inning next inning if he's going to keep this up.

What this game shows, more than anything else, is that Lilly's game is made for the misty, rainy days with the wind blowing in.
