Do I have to wait for 5 starts before I can put Cashner in at SP? He's currently not eligible, but I can't put him at RP because he was named 5th starter.

? Because of the TOs? He's had a solid game other than that. Free throw shooting is absolutely killing us. Yeah, unforced TOs at that. I think that last was his 10th.

If the Pacers hold on, I don't care about this game. If they lose, I'd rather it be a blowout than spend a lot of effort coming back just to lose.

A lot of power on that team. Any team w/ Pujols is legit. Bench is weak though you don't have any huge injury concerns to worry about. I don't think Latos repeats his 2010, but he should still be pretty decent. Pitching should be good enough.

This team is really good. Good starting pitching. A lot of low WHIP, high K guys (Verlander, Greinke, Haren), which is always good. Won't do much in SVs though. OF is actually pretty weak, IMO, and in a 5 OF league (which is insane FWIW) you got 3 really good ones and Markakis who should be back to being pretty good with the lineup surrounding him now.

LMAO! The tournament is completely insane now. 2 of 5.9Mil picked the Final 4 right, and those 2 must have had 1900 entries each. No way anybody with 1 bracket picked these 4 teams to make it.

I'll help with a somewhat unrelated post. What would happen if you put Gus Johnson and Stacey King on the same broadcast team? Broadcast history. BTW, pretty much everything Derrick did last night was spectacular. His assists weren't just kicking it to the outside for a 3. Most of them were great displays of vision and precision. Most of his points were scored after a sick move on the dribble or a spectacular finish at the rim. I don't know that this was the best game he ever played, but it was certainly the most spectacular.

Finished last year in the majors. Is starting this year in the majors. But only had 67 ABs (78 PAs). Am I allowed to put him in the minors this year?

My wife is afraid for my son to play football. But I'm a football guy and would hope my son gets into football as much as I was as a kid/young adult. While the head injuries have increased, they are still rare in the grand scheme of things. I have kinda swayed her on the head injury thing. But she's really concerned now about the kids dying from undetected heart issues. Also rare, but I can't explain my way out of that. But anyway, I picked it's up to him. I will definitely push for him to play football, indirectly by constantly watching football and my general fanaticism toward the sport vs. other sports. But if he chooses another sport, then that's fine with me too (not choosing a sport is not an option). -

What is the obvious reason? That it supports your argument? I don't know why it makes sense to remove a significant chunk of Pippen's value when comparing him to another player. I mean, if you take away rebounding, Kevin Love isn't that much better than Brook Lopez! Wow. Calm the EFF down. Obvious reasons is the part of my freaking post you cut out. The obvious reason is Deng is playing with the best PG in the NBA. Scottie Pippen was the PG on his team. Can't completely take out assists because that was part of what made Scottie great, but you can't completely use assists as the primary argument of why a guy who handles the ball every time down the court is much better than a guy that never handles the ball down the court (exaggerating a little).

I really like Deng, but they're still pretty far off. The scoring and scoring efficiency is about the same (17.8 ppg on 14.1 shots for Pippen, 17.7 ppg on 14.4 shots for Deng), but everything else is off. Pippen outrebounded Deng (7.3 to 5.5), out-assisted him (6.2 to 2.8), out-stole him (2.4 to 1.0) and out-blocked him (1.1 to 0.6). Deng turns it over a bit less, but he doesn't handle the ball nearly as much as Pippen did.And those are just counting stats. Lu is a really good defender, but I don't think anyone should compare him to Pippen defensively. Really, I don't think too many players in NBA history should be compared to Pippen defensively. Which is why he doesn't have the assist numbers. Scottie was the PG. And he passed the ball to the greatest scorer in NBA history. Deng plays with an MVP caliber PG that creates his own shots. Completely different. And if you take out the assists for the obvious reasons, 91 Pippen isn't that much better than 11 Deng. Defensely, Pippen was really really good, though. Considerably better than Deng, who is well above average.

Possibly? Really? Can we stop acting like that team was invincible? Saying they'd lose 10/10 is pretty bad. Saying the current team would POSSIBLY take a game or two is almost as bad. They won 74% of their games against the whole league. The current Bulls are a title contender. Not league average. Wait 91 Bulls? Not the 95-96 Bulls with 72 wins? I think it would be pretty competitive. Pippen/Deng actually isn't very far off if we are talking 1991 Pippen. Especially since Pippen was better every other year in a Bulls uniform after that year (still very good that year). Boozer's probably better than Horace. Noah's better than Cartwright. Rose would run circles around Paxson and Armstrong. Of course, Jordan vs. the Bulls current 2s would be probably a bigger mismatch than all of these combined. 7 game series, 91 Bulls win 4-2 or 4-3.

A bunch of my coworkers ordered jerseys the day AFTER the NFL championship games (2 weeks before Superbowl) from jersey101/tarajersey.com. They ordered something like 15-18 jerseys. The first box of them 4-5 jerseys came in in about 10-12 days, I think the Thursday before the SB. The 2nd box got stopped at US Customs. So, the person who ordered them contacted the company and PayPal. PayPal gave her the money back for the jerseys they didn't receive. But in the meantime the guy in China apologized and sent a 2nd shipment of jerseys, not knowing that the payment was already being refunded, and that a few of the jerseys were already received. The 2nd shipment was not received until March 15th. But on St. Patty's Day, the 1st shipment was released from customs. 3 of the jerseys were severely damaged on the 1st shipment, but everything was fine on the 2nd. So, tarajersey refunded them again for the 3 damaged jerseys, but did charge them for the rest of the 2nd shipment. So, basically in the end, the transaction took about 2 months, but the people here got double their order and only ended up paying for about 6-8 of them.

3rd base isn't very deep either, unless Sandoval and Aramis have big turnaround years.
