  1. Going to be interesting. Because we know that won't happen again. Wade and James will not be held down twice in a row. Of course, that's going to have to come at the expense of someone. Which means, Bosh will be taken out of the game, and the Heat are not as good of a team when Bosh isn't active on the offensive end. So, the Heat better be careful what they wish for.
  2. I woke my daughter up yelling at that. My whole family was asleep upstairs during the 2nd Gibson dunk and I just dropped on the floor and screamed into the carpet. My son had just gone to sleep around the 1st dunk so I just pumped my fist and did some crazy kicking motion that my wife thought was interesting. Anytime, I yell and cheer at the Bulls when my 4yo son is awake, even if he's in the other room, he'll yell "Gimme the hot sauce!" You sir, are a great father. =D>
  3. Is it? Is it of "note?" Boozer and Gibson will guard Bosh, just as they did during the 3 regular season matchups and I suspect, like in the 3 reg season matchups, Thibs will employ his standard defense and challenge the non-basketball mega gods to beat them. Not that I'm some basketball sage. I just, you know, watch the games and pay attention. Looked to me like Noah was on Bosh most of the game. Noah got abused, but it was mostly because he was overplaying the passing lane protecting against penetration.

  5. I can't stress how good the defense was tonight. Asik got LeBron 1-on-1 twice and all they got was a lucky 3. Noah got Wade 1-on-1 at the top of the key and blocked his shot. Gibson got switched on LBJ a couple times with no points scored. Wade had Rose in the post a couple times and didn't score. Individual defense was wonderful tonight. Team defense is almost always great.
  6. Little late, but I'm pretty sure that's why he was complaining
  7. There better be about 5 hookers waiting in Taj Gibson's locker after this game. Hell, I wish I was there at this point.
  8. Man, I'm so hyped for this game. Really looking forward to see how each team defends the stars. Word is the Heat are going to throw everybody at Rose. From Wade, to Chalmers, to Bibby, to Lebron, I even heard something about Bosh trying to check him outside.
  9. fish rim fish rim FISHY RIM Charlie Murphy!
  10. Would have saved him 250 Mil if he did that a couple years ago.
  11. Did you seriously not get my check? I sent it weeks ago.
  12. Considering we were the only chance to beat the Heat, I wouldn't be taking pleasure in this if I was you. Don't know why you took that as me taking pleasure.
  13. I thought battle tested teams were good in the 4th quarter/
  14. Korver hasn't really played that well either. 30% from the field. Sucks that it took 5 games to realize that. A lot was made about Asik and Taj being on the floor at the end, but Brewer was out there too. Brewer made a huge steal, was extremely active on the offensive boards, and helps with the matchup problems the Bulls have when Korver is on the floor. Korver has to guard either Teague, Crawford or Johnson and all are terrible matchups for him. I just feel like the Bulls need to take last night as the blueprint and try to stop the Hawks from scoring rather than focusing on getting Rose help on the offensive end. And Brewer is a big key for that.
  15. Welcome to the playoffs, 2011 NBA coach of the year. Way to put your best defenders in the game to stop the Hawks instead of trying to score with them.
  16. Is that a surprise? I say bring him off the bench for 12-15 mins a night and start Taj. Or sit him until the ECF, assuming we make it that far. What does it matter who starts? Bogans starts and obviously isn't getting a ton of minutes unless he earns them by playing well. Same can be done with Boozer, while protecting his ego as a starter.
  17. Verlander walked Arencibia in the 8th (after 0-2 count), but got a GIDP and still has a no-hitter.
  18. What a good game for the first I've watched start to finish all year.
  19. Well, that's a fitting ending. :banghead:
  20. Yeah, that's why I didn't dispute Te'o being picked higher. I like Jeffrey a lot, but that's some lofty praise. Better than Fitzgerald? Keyshawn? The top 2 this year were pretty good too, but yeah I'd take Jeffrey over either of them. I'd really like Justin Blackmon to be a Chicago Bear. I'd prefer Jeffrey, but would rather not finish with one of the 5 worst records in the league (nor would I like to pull off a Falcons like trade for him).
  21. Congrats man. Marriage isn't what kills your fantasy baseball priorities....it's kids. They're worth it though.
  22. Isn't he listed at 6'2", 250 ish? That's pretty good size, even on the interior. He can run like an outside LB though. He has produced in college. And he was one of the top recruited HS players a couple years ago. I think Burflict's a better LB, but that's the only one in potentially the deepest ILB class I've ever seen.
  23. Manti would never do that to me. Curse you for even thinking such a thing. Next years draft, makes 2011 look like a warm pool of piss. 2010 was a pretty good draft too, one of the best of our lifetimes. 2012 will be better if everyone that should come out of school does. 2010 was unreal. Alshon Jeffery might be one of my favorite WR's to come out in some time, and I absolutely love Blackmon too. Curious as to where Luck would grade with the other top QB's in draft history. I can't say complete history of the league, but he's the best QB prospect since Peyton Manning. Not that he'll be better than every QB other than Peyton, but he has all the ability in the world to be so.
