  1. I think the Bears are looking at DT, WR or CB in the 2nd. DT- Marvin Austin (likely gone), Drake Nevis, Terrell McClain, Jurrell Casey WR- Leonard Hankerson CB- Davon House, Curtis Brown I'd really like to see them go for the juggular on the OL and go after Ben Ijalana or Orlando Franklin at OG.
  2. I wonder what happens to Omiyale and Williams now. I'm guessing Frank O gets the boot. Hell, he's even wearing Carimi's college jersey number. I think the line will either go: Webb-LG (hope a FA or 2nd round pick)-Kreutz-Garza (hope a FA)-Carimi or Webb- Carimi- Kreutz - Garza (hope a FA)- Williams
  3. I actually do think the Ravens have a beef. It sounds like the trade was agreed on and Angelo didn't hold up his end of the bargain. But the rules are, it didn't get done in time so the pick was not traded. The Ravens looked bad for "skipping" their pick, but Angelo comes off as a slimeball in this whole thing. Ultimately, the Ravens won't get anything out of this.
  4. WTF? This draft is going to be awesome. 1. Newton Gabbert in the top 7. Rumors of Tenn going Dalton at 8. Locker may go 10-12 Kaepernick at #15. Keep sending Gabe Carimi and/or Mike Pouncey down to 29.
  5. I believe it was Adam Shefter that came out and said he is 100% sure that the Bears are NOT picking Marvin Austin at 29.
  6. Word is Cowboys are looking at JJ Watt over Tyron Smith. But yeah, that's what I'm thinking other than that.
  7. I didn't mean to imply that I was severely disappointed with what Martz did last year. But he is what he is at this point. He did adapt some last year, but he still generally puts unnecessary risk on his QB's health, isn't big on protecting the ball, and doesn't want to run the ball. Like I said, he was able to work with what he had the 2nd half of last year, but I know it killed him to do so.
  8. Easy solution would be to bring back the RFAs and let the UFAs go. Stalberg and Dowell aren't necessary to keep back, but I'd rather have them than any of the UFAs.
  9. I'm a spiteful bastard, so I really hope the Pens don't win it. Especially without Crosby, I'd never hear the end of it.
  10. Rose is feeling it now! Let's end this!
  11. Martz really can go. The offense actually got worse last year from Turner to Martz. And they probably lost a couple games and their QB for a game and a half mostly because of his scheme and his inability to either call or design running plays early in the year or his unwillingness to protect the QB early in the season.
  12. Any idea who's in goal tonight for Vancouver? I'm sure they'll keep it close to the vest if Schneider is healthy.
  13. Chargers need a WR to develop in case they lose Floyd and Naanee, and could lose VJack the year after. Obviously, they like big WRs. The next good big WR on the board is..... WR, Tandon Doss, Indiana Hoosiers. Homer pick: Chargers select Tandon Doss, WR IU.
  14. Sweet. Paused it to get laundry out and comeback to the game winner. Those deflections have been there the entire time Luongo's been in.
  15. Hopefully, Lu is moping for not getting the start and not completely pissed off.
  16. YEEEEESSSSSSS!!!!!!!!
  17. Looks like it. Schneider (I think that's his name) was in net in the warmups.
  18. Luongo NOT in net tonight. WOW.
  19. Sure, it's not ideal. But if i'm in a tough playoff series and I'm the opposing coach I'm perfectly fine putting the game on Luol Deng's shoulders. It's not like LBJ is going to completely shut down Rose, and Deng's going to have to do all the scoring. Plus, the Heat aren't going to risk that much on the offensive end to have their 2 best players in tough size/speed matchups on the defensive end. I think Rose/James and Deng/Wade is an unnecessary risk for the Heat when they can just flip-flop and have a better defensive matchup both ways.
  20. It'll probably be close again. Putting bigger wings on Rose has worked wonders. I bet Lebron guards Rose a lot if it comes down to that... probably. but theyll play better at the united center. and now its essential they close this out to get rose some rest. his shot is horrible right now. he needs rest badly. and his ability to finish and drive was not there today. The problem with Lebron on Rose is that means either Wade on Deng (because Chalmers/Bibby is clearly not an option). Deng would eat DWade alive. The Heat are going to have to put Wade on Rose, if the matchup happens. I don't see Wade guarding Deng as any big defensive mismatch. What makes you say that? Wade's a really good defender and Deng is limited on offense if he has to create. Deng has a good 4-5 inches on him. It's a really bad size mismatch for Wade.

  22. My plan was a lot better, but damn that shot shoulda went in from Boozer.
  23. Rose, Watson, Korver, Deng, Noah. Korver as a decoy, 3 for Deng or Watson.
  24. Wouldn't even look into it until 2012, if he continues to hit and improve his power. He's not even close to arbitration eligible. And he's not quite the franchise player that Tulo, Wright, Longoria, and Braun are/were when the signed those deals.
  25. I feel like this series is just opening up a big can of worms for the rest of the Eastern conference. A more talented team is going to be able to beat the Bulls if things don't turn for the better soon.
