    This year, maybe not, but the big picture is a little different. It isn't a good sign when a guy who is projected by many as your future top-of-the-rotation starter already has discomfort after one career start.

    Did anyone else catch Mike & Mike this morning where the mom of one of the producers had picked this matchup in her bracket with a final score of something crazy like 54-39? They were talking about how unrealistic that score was, but apparently she was onto something!

    they had 11 hits...that's plenty. Not when they are 11 singles. Or did I miss an extra base hit? Huh? You can easily win a game with 11 singles and XBH. I'm guessing if you average 11 singles a game with no extra base hits, you will lose many more games than you win.
