    I must say I haven't been overly impressed with anything I have seen out of him. I hadn't watched him pitch very much with Tampa, but I was expecting a guy with #1 or 2 type stuff.

    I obviously understand and appreciate the significance of Jackie Robinson, but I still think it is stupid that everyone on the field wears #42.

    For me personally, replay takes away from my enjoyment of the game. It really limits some of the excitement of the moment. I can't fully enjoy a spectacular NFL touchdown catch because I'm always wondering if it is going to be overturned. I know I'm fighting a losing battle, but I don't want to be looking toward the replay monitors on an RBI base hit down the line because I'm worried that the run will be taken off the board.

    I'm flipping back and forth between the Cubs and Blackhawks game and so far it seems like Vancouver in on a perpetual power play. Every time I turn it on they are passing the puck around the Hawks zone and Crawford is being pelted with shots.

    Where did the Bulls game go? I can't seem to find it anywhere. CSN2/+ Found it, thanks... I had to go deeper into my alternate sports channels than I have ever gone before.

    I would be very interested to see Zambrano's career ERA in innings after he hits a home run. There may be nothing to it, but it sure seems to me like he tends to lose concentration more often after he hits a home run.

    Is anyone else hearing the annoying noises on tonight's broadcast. One is a constant hum, while the other is an occasional clicking noise that reminds me of something like a typewriter. The typewriter noise was also present last night. Anyone know what is going on?

    So why would the Cubs not call up someone who can throw closer to 100 pitches? Doesn't anyone have options?

    Not all wins are equal when you cause unnecessary stress on the back of your bullpen due to poor managerial decisions. Those things will catch up to a team over the course of a season.

    I know he had a reputation as a partier, but "worst person on the planet"? I don't remember ever hearing anything about Grace being a bad guy.

    Why do the umpires stand around for 2 minutes discussing the call before they go to the video replay? Those were 2 completely unnecessary minutes.

    Anything less than a sweep that means that the Cubs will be .500 or below through the first 12 games with almost the easiest possible schedule. I suppose you can call that good news if you want!

    Is it too early to suggest that Pena may be a lot closer to last year's player than someone worth $10 Million? I sure haven't seen any promising signs from him yet.

    I sure wouldn't use a pick on him, but I'm guessing someone will take a flyer early in the 2nd round.
