At this point, I would gladly trade schedules with the Brewers. I can't imagine the Cubs beating any of those three teams more than once in a series. I'll be thoroughly shocked if the Cubs are more than about 1 game over .500 for the remaining stretch. I too. I fear a repeat of the close of 2004, the Cubs will have chance after chance to seize the NL Central (WC in 2004) but, we fail to do so. I believe we are going to witness several 1 run extra inning loses, games in which the the Cubs grossly out hit and, save for a pitch or two, out pitch the opposition. We'll see things like the Cubs leaving 20+ plus men on base, Lee and Ramirez GIDP's with the bases loaded, failing to score a run with a runner on third and no outs, etc. The real kicker is that these failings won't occur because the opposition made the perfect pitch, no, they'll occur because Lee and Ramirez just missed hanging sliders or high BP fastballs.
