There probly wont be much to talk about until tommorrow afternoon at the meetings. So lets have a thread with our predictions. Make one prediction of a move you think the Cubs will make at this weeks meetings.

 

I predict that the Cubs will have Bobby Abreu in right field.

I really don't understand why the Cubs would pay too much for Pierre when Pie will be ready in 2007. I just don't see a Murton, Pie and Pierre Cub OF in 2007.

Hendry and Dusty get 2 year extensions before the season starts. Cubs trade Walker and Cpatt with prospects to Texas for Soriano and Mench. Macias re-signs. Cedeno starts the first 4 games of the season before being benched for Neifi. The team hovers around .500 all year. I stop watching around July. I watch a couple of games in September to see if Pie or any other young guys are getting any playing time. They aren't (Dusty's here, come on), so I stop watching.
