For those of us who can't watch, what just happened? How did we score? I thought the Packers were on their way to scoring?

 

Favre thew up a perfect pass to Charles Tillman who returned it 95 yards, and then Robbie Gould hit a field goal right away because there was 6 secs. left.

 

Wow, how come Tillman couldn't go all the way?

INT by Favre to Tillman, Tillman ran it all the way back to the Packers 10 and Gould hit a FG.

Lovie does not equal Dusty. I love the way Lovie coaches. Sure, that was conservative but then again our QB and WRs haven't been playing good at all. The ball has been in the air a lot of times and so forth so I'm not going to fault the decision.

Tony Fisher caught up with him and knocked him out of bounds.

He did make a few moves. It looked like he was going to be escorted out of bounds around the GB 40.

 

I agree with the decision to just kick the FG. That was huge.

The Bears have looked bad on both sides of the ball. Special teams has been great.

Lovie=Dusty. Way too conservative. You have timeouts, take 1 shot into the endzone. Step on their throats.

 

I don't know, it's pretty risky with Orton not playing well. I'd rather just take the easy 3 and go into halftime with a lead.

 

It's not all Orton, though. his recievers haven't helped him. Take one safe fade pattern, if it doesn't work, kick the 3.

 

Ok, how many drops do the receivers have?

 

2 sure drops, and Jones ran a bad pattern on a checkdown. He has had guys in his face most of the afternoon.

The run has been there, as usual. And I think they can get a sustained drive or two on the ground with smart playaction calls.

#30 on the BEARS had a chance to block Tony Fischer around mid-field, but he just gave him a little push, and Fischer came back to make the tackle at the Green Bay 8 yard line.

That pass was deflected by Harris.

 

It's not all of Orton's fault, but he hasn't played well this year. He hasn't done welll today either.

Don't get to watch the Bears that much so I can't say how bad Orton is, but how do you think they would look if the Bears had a respecatable QB?

You're right I would, because I've seen plenty of "game manager" claims, but the person that thinks that Orton is the reason we're winning, and not the defense is just flat out wrong.

I personally think that Orton isn't even as good as a "game manager".
