KU eeks one out against OSU. Games like this remind me why I shouldn't get overly excited over the Jayhawks' prospects in the tourney.

Snood, how did JamesOn Curry look? I like him a lot as a combo guard coming out after his junior season. He had a very nice freshman season in the sixth man/starting role at OSU, but has struggled some this year.

I've watched Curry play several games this year, and I have to say I'm not very impressed with him. He seems to have regressed from last year.

What I was so impressed with him last year was his inability to beat the defender off the dribble and create his own shot. He had a great looking jumper after he'd beaten his opponent off the dribble. He's a little undersized, but I think with a strong junior year (and if he plays at the point...) he could be a lottery pick.

He needs another year. I'm not sure if he regressed. He may be just a victim of a weaker supporting cast.

Tonight he had 17 pts (7-16), 6 boards, 1 assist, 3 steals, and 4 TO. I don't know if he ahs the decision making to be a pg, but he's got a quick release and can stroke it off a screen.

I thought he played pretty well tonight. Much better than he did when we played in Stillwater.

Nebraska upsets OU. I wouldn't be surprised if Texas were the only Big XII team to make it past the first weekend of the NCAAs. Edited by snoodmonger

So did anyone actually see the Allan Ray eye injury? People are claiming that his eyeball basically popped out of the socket and was dangling, but ESPN won't show the replays because they're too graphic.

It's one of those things you don't want to see but it sounds so hard to believe that I'd kind of like to see it. Horrible break for him and Villanova either way though.

I wasn't paying very close attention, but I don't think it was that bad, from the replay and sideline report I saw.

Good one to open the Big East tourney. Cincy making a comeback vs. the Cuse. Both should be in, but the winner gets the important 20th win.

Nice win. It's also nice to see Boeheim being his old fiesty self...I missed him acting like that.

Man, that was awesome. And he is right. w/o McNamara, Syracuse wouldn't have won those 10 games.

*ahem*

McNamara overrated? I think not! Man, McNamara is amazing.

Cal defeats Oregon in double OT, 81-77. Oregon had a chance to win it, but Chamberlain Oguchi missed the go-ahead 3-pointer with 2 seconds left.

Leon Powe scored 41 points, setting a new Pac-10 Tourney record (he broke Reggie Miller's record of 39 in 1987), but didn't play the final minute of the game because he suffered a stinger.

Tomorrow, it will be between (3) Cal vs. (1) UCLA.

It's nice to see him finally hitting those shots again and the other guys stepping up. I just hope it continues into the NCAA's but I'm worried that GMac is once again injured. Plus, Pitt grabs and clutches more than the Patriot's defensive backfield. They're like playing an old YMCA team.

Wow...the SEC doesn't get any TV love? I'm really surprised. Thanks for the schedule T squared.

What an interesting debate the ESPN guys had. Jay Bilus is the best analyst out there IMO and listening to him argue with Joe Leanardi was pretty informative. Bracket Joe has had 64 out of 65 of the teams in the bracket right for the last 7 years

In other news, 8 Mizzou players have threatened to transfer, based on who the next head coach is. I say good, get them all out. We're gonna suck for a long while now anyways, might as well blow the whole thing up and start over. Especially Horton, we should just release that bum.

which players?

Horton, Gardner, Brown, Dandridge, Grimes, Lawrence, Douglas, and Lyons. Basically the entire team except for Watkins's son and the walk-on Berardini who didn't play a minute this year.

Is Dandridge related to Bobby Dandridge that used to play for the Bucks and Bullets?
