11/13 Bears vs. 49ers

ChicagoBears.com[/url]"]LAKE FOREST, Ill. - The Bears are going to wear orange jerseys with their customary white pants Sunday when they host the 49ers at Soldier Field and would like their fans to follow suit.

 

The team is encouraging all those who attend the game to also wear orange, whether it's a Bears jersey or jacket or other clothing.

 

The orange jerseys the Bears will don Sunday are different than the ones they wore last Thanksgiving in Dallas, which were "throwbacks" replicating their 1946 uniforms.

i don't understand why they are wearing the orange on a game against the 49ers instead of a game on a national stage like the Falcons game on a Sunday night.

I knew it was only a matter of time before the Bears saw replica sales of those stupid orange things and decided to wear them. I hate almost all alternate NFL jerseys.

The all-blue combo they had against the Packers on MNF a couple of years ago wasn't that bad, but that was just a different combination. There really isn't a reason to use alternate jerseys when they're not throwbacks.

Not that its big news, but when Dan Patrick asked Dwyane Wade what his sport was, football or baseball, Wade replied, "I'm football all the way... I'm from Chicago. I love the Bears." Doesnt have much to do with anything. I just think its cool that D. Wade is probably watching the Bears game and being a fan just like us.

i liked the blue pants they had in that game. The uni's looked a lot smoother i guess is the word you could use.

 

i just hope the Packers never EVER wear those hideous "golden" yellow alternate jerseys.

I didn't know they even had such jerseys. Hopefully they learned the lesson from the Saints' gold jerseys and the Browns' orange jerseys.

I'm glad I finally get to see a bears game. It sucks being in an area with two horrible teams, I'm stuck with those games. The NFL needs to get rid of its local blackout rules.

Those damn blackout rules forced Yes, Dear reruns to be shown up on the Indy Fox affiliate instead of the Panthers/Bucs game last week.

agreed, i hate having to watch the titans...although i do love it when they lose and the bears win.....i was at the game last year when the bears beat them with a safety, it was oh so sweet...well, until a couple of rednecks wanted to kill me because i had a bears shirt on.

Not sure if those look better with the three blue stripes instead of two blue and one white like the older orange alternate jerseys that they're selling, but I think that may be the only difference.

Those are even worse than the version they've been selling with the blue lettering.

I don't mind the orange. Not sure why everyone hates em so much. Orange has always been one of their team colors. Hell, the colors come from the Illini.

 

My favorite was when they wore the blue on blue for MNF at Champaign a few years ago. They looked mean as hell. Too bad they didn't play like it.

 

Wish they'd go back to white on white for road games...

Are you kidding? The blue on blue looked horrible IMO, and not just because they played horribly.
