Not to cry about the officials, but the officiating in this series has been ridiculous and horribly one-sided.

There was a huge disparity in game 1 but the free throw attempts in game 2 were almost even. If the Bulls aren't getting the benefit of the doubt on calls at home, I'll jump on board the bad-officiating train.

I guess it's just tough to watch a game in which Shaq is involved.

I heard Skiles say before Game 1 that he was happy with the officiating. But I am a little tired of seeing Shaq putting his head down and just running through anyone. That isn't basketball.

He got called for a fair amount of offensive fouls for that kind of stuff in the first game though. Also a couple traveling and 3 sec violations if I recall correctly.

well, i'm real glad that skiles ran thomas off earlier in the year, what a genius move that was.

Mariotti agrees with you. That would make me uncomfortable.

a blind squirrel is given his acorn now and then. personally, if it's that obvious that even mariotti can see it, i feel good about the assertion. skiles is a player-killer.

if we got garnett next year, he'd be buried on the bench (being facetious, obviously, but you get the point).

skiles and star players don't mix.

I fail to see how getting rid of Tim Thomas proves this point, or how that indifferent underachiever would've made a positive impact for the Bulls. Your blind squirrel analogy can be applied to Thomas' game 1 performance against the Lakers.

we could have used Thomas's 9 boards and 11 points (game 2) against the heat.

skiles has a track record in the NBA that pre-dates his time with the bulls.

You should account for the pace difference between the Suns' and the Bulls' offenses before you start rattling off numbers. Thomas produced a 12.23 PER during the regular season compared to 15.86 for Deng and 16.12 for Noch. He's not the answer at SF for the Bulls by a long shot.

Paxson doesn't and he made the right call with Thomas.

thomas had a handful of games to prove himself, too.

his hand was forced by skiles, who has the reputation of being an insufferable jerk around the league. i've rarely heard of an ex-player saying anything kind about him.

Whatever. Thomas produced a 12.21 per in 71 games last year. He's a sub-par player at this point. You should pick a different champion for your anti-Skiles crusade. I'm not convinced he's the best coach for this team long-term, but getting rid of Thomas didn't hurt the team at all.

This thing is heating up! A few non-calls and Posey with a totally uncalled for flagrant foul.

Buh bye.

And now Walker with the technical.

I sure hope Shaq fouls out before the night is done, as well.

And Haslem gets the technical.
