we had to win today and we did.

95-87 final over the Nets. Nocioni was great tonight.

Those two dunks, particularly the and-one, were fantastic. :D

I doubt we're making the playoffs, but when I see the Bucks drop a game at home to the Knicks I must admit there's still an outside shot.

It would be very good to see the Bulls fight all the way to the end instead of giving up.

Bulls lose to Detroit 106-101. Detroit was just too hot in the 2nd half. Both teams had a ridiculous 4th quarter in terms of offense. I really think we match up alright with the Pistons compared to some of the other Eastern Conference teams.

76ers and Bucks lost, so we don't lose any ground on 7th and 8th. 3 very winnable games in a row starting on Friday with the Clippers.

We really could've used that one. It was winnable.

You can't be taken seriously when the two best teams in your division sweep you.

No team battling for an 8 spot should really be taken seriously unless tehy had some huge injury problems holding them back most of the year. All this fighting for a spot is just fighting to get rolled in the 1st round by a far superior team. All that matters is that the Knicks lose games.

It's also fighting to get the young core more playoff experience, and there's value in that.

I just don't know what kind of experience it gives them to get swept by the Pistons.

Not that this says too much, but I can be reasonably sure that of all the teams that could realistically get the 8 spot, Pistons fans would least prefer us to get it. I'd think we could steal one if that presented itself.

Not that this will matter if they can get the 7 and play the much more beatable Heat.

I do. Playoff experience.

Michael had to get his ass kicked by the Celtics and then by the Pistons before leading the Bulls through.

There's a lot to be learned about pressure situations and you gain an incredible amount of experience in the playoffs.

Looks like Hinrich did something to his right knee there.

And Songaila has a fracture in his foot.

<3 Deng.

21 and 7 tonight - he is having one hell of a month.

Bulls win despite a huge game from Al Harrington.

2 1/2 back thanks to the Bucks loss to the Clips tonight too.

i said it earlier, I'll say it again. I do want Al Harrington in the offseason.

Can we stop pretending this team is a playoff contender now?

The Bucks game last week stuck a fork in them in my mind.

They haven't put a win streak together all year and have been sub .500 all year as well. Even if they nabbed the 8th spot they would be schooled by Detroit and lose a lottery pick. Write the season off and play for draft position.

So who do you guys want with those 2 lottery picks?

I heard today that there is a chance that Hansborough from UNC might leave. If he does, where does everyone think he will go? Would anybody rather have him than Aldridge?

The Bulls are done. Lets hope for a good draft

i just looked at both the Bulls and 76ers schedules and the Bulls have a far easier schedule for the final 14 games...I wouldn't say we are out of it totally, but a loss to the Hornets on Friday would probably seal the deal.
