So much for paring down the field of unbeatens. We nearly had three, but then stubborn Texas and UCLA decided to be great teams again.

Miss St. is driving down the field they are on UK's 4yd line down 13-7 on the final drive of the game. MSU fumbles and UK wins 13-7.

Beyond tonight's game, these two teams have defeated Murray St., Idaho St. (I-AA), and Tulane this year.

Texas's comeback is unreal.

Not really, considering the opponent. OSU isn't winless in the Big 12 because of bad luck.

Ok, you're right - but coming back from a 19-point halftime deficit on the road is still impressive.

True, but I have become kind of numb to top ranked teams doing that sort of thing after seing USC pull so many ourt of their arses.

Biggest game of the year, the defense plays great, and the offense put up a giant you know what. Dropped passes all over the place, the receivers running wrong routes, stupid holding calls, bad play calling. But most of all, it looked like they weren't even trying. They weren't in it offensively at all.

I'll try to keep myself from complaining about the officiating until tomorrow, though. And I thought the talk was overblown. Wow....

Ugh, go Vols

Wow. Did you see Fulmer literally spit before he had to cross the field to shake Spurrier's hand? I do not envy Fulmer for the next few weeks. Things don't get any better for your boys going into South Bend next weekend. This is a great victory for us.

I guess Lee Corso forgot to remind Spurrier that you can't win at USC and that we'll never beat the Big 3 in the SEC East.

Oh yeah, and Vince Young is good.

Long season for the Vols and Fulmer will be hearing it. It's been a rough years for the Volunteer faithful, especially with losses to 'Bama, Florida, and Spurrier. All we need now are losses to Kentucky and Vanderbilt.

You'll beat those guys. 6-5 isn't going to cut it. Especially not from a team that is preseason top 5. I am not sure what is wrong up there, but the Vols have far too much talent to play this poorly.

It'll be a fun media week. The Vols are in big trouble, especially with the Irish waiting. I have a feeling the issues at QB will continue until one guy is handed the job outright.

I would have bet my house against Notre Dame's schedule turning into what it did. For all the talk about how the Irish were in danger of starting 0-6, only three teams on ND's entire schedule this year have winning records: Michigan, MSU and USC.

I wouldn't be surprised if ND has more trouble with the Vols than people will think. They'll be playing their butts off trying to avoid being 3-5.

Claussen is clearly unhappy with Fulmer. He won that job out of fall practice and Fulmer gave it to his pet, Ainge. Then he pulls Fulmer's ass out of the fire against LSU and he still has to look over his shoulder. I got nervous when he FINALLY put Claussen back in. Honestly, I think ND puts a big hurtin on the Vols.

EDITED to admit that I probably dislike Fulmer more than just about anyone in sports.

QB controversy is the theme of the 2005 season for the Vols. Both guys are pressing and I can't really blame them. It's a good thing they have a little defense or it would really be frustrating.

The most shocking thing about the Vols is they don't have one go to guy on offense. Not one.

Speaking of go to guys, Sidney Rice is a star in the making. 6-4 with a 41 inch vertical leap and great hands. Amazing.

Go ahead and talk about it now. i was over on the Michgan side (sec 110) and the Michigan fans around me were freely admitting it.
