I'm just curious, but why is Jim Tracy such a hot name around here. I mean, he gets my vote because he isn't Dusty, but, does he have a better understanding of OBP and how to use it? Or is he just a better in-game manager?

Honestly, in your guys opinion, who is a better manager, Tracy or Baker? Also, what about Pineilla comign here? Steve Stone on the SCORE said that the current regime would never hire him. I would love him. Next I would try to pick up Joe Girardi. Don Baylor is also available as hitting coach (JK).

Girardi would be nice. I just think that Piniella is a has-been, who would be just as frustrating as Dusty in many ways.

Would I prefer Tracy over Baker? All day long.

 

Tracy used to manage the Peoria Chiefs. Baker is a long time player in the Dodger organization. I'd be perfectly fine with the ole double switch.
