In keeping my Larry Brown tendencies, I'll have to call it quits.

But, I feel I gave that team a foundation in its present state and in the future by rebuilding the farm system.

Player prodcurement in the Frontier League and in a new League forming in '06 down in TX will absorb more time.

Congrats on the opportunity. Keep me posted on the Frontier Leaguers, so I can check them out.

BTW, I know it's early, but I'd like to nominate Raisin and/or CP20 (if Kathie's out too). I have been in other leagues with them and they are good players. Plus, they're pretty friendly, knowledgeable and all that jazz.

It'll be interesting, there will be 8 teams spread throughout Texas and maybe sneaking into LA. But they'll need as many players as possible for the draft and tryouts, which is my responsibility.

hopefully the tryouts aren't anytime soon because that is going to be one soggy area. coming out to ski again this year? I was marginally offended you didn't call last year . . . :D

D - can you talk to them? Now would be a good time so they can see some scoring this year and pick their keepers.

Good luck Todd!

You want me to formally invite them? What should I tell them?

tell them its a fantasy keeper league that is going into its fifth year has smart but nice people and is lots of fun.

it's a stretch to say i'm one of those, let alone both.

and good luck w/ the job, uk. keep us posted. the last time you abandoned a team, they were in the championship in two short years. :D

Sweet, if you ever need anything down in South Texas don't hesitate to ask. There is also a pretty solid base down here steming from Corpus Christi Moody HS.

Some of the teams will be located in Edinburg (replacing the Central League team), Harlingen, and possibly Laredo out west.

The tryouts are in the Spring, I might get out to Tahoe this T-Giving, but I'll be in Belize this January.

My current team is better off than the one I left you with.

I don't know, will he call his team the bruins?

God, I hope not. I've played in leagues with him, and he hasn't used Bruins yet.

What's the next step?

Shane, if you go to any Central league games (Coastal Bend) the Central league is in trouble.

I'll be suprised if the Costal Bend team makes it beyond next season given the success of the AA team in Corpus
