Some intreaging subplots to this game:

-Will the Cardinals clinch at Wrigley Field?

-Will any Cubs fans not sell their tickets to Cards fans for a huge markup?

-Will Prior stay under 150 pitches through the first 4 innings?

-Will any more pitchers that haven't pitched in two weeks randomly get thrown in at a critical situation?

-Will Dusty stop being a venomous cancer determined to destroy all that is Cubdom?

Anyways, the Cubs have the advantage in the pitching matchup, as long as Priors arm doesnt fall off sometime in the second. Umm...Go Cubs

I need Suppan to win to advance in the playoffs for my fantasy team(thanks for getting hurt Oliver Perez). Between that and me hating the Cubs right now I am torn as to who to cheer for. I don;t care abou tthe money in the fantasy league, but I like to be able to brag. That said I hate the Cardinals and am only mad at the Cubs. Go Cubs.

After Tuesday night's game I thought about mentioning that Tuesday was the first time since 10 Aug (9th time this season) that the CUBS had used 6 pitchers in the game. So what happens ? Last night the CUBS used 8 pitchers in the game. First time since Fri 08 April (CUBS home opener vs. Milwaukee), and second time this year. On one other occaision in April, the CUBS used 7 pitchers in a game.

-Will the Cardinals clinch at Wrigley Field?

Oh God. I hadn't even thought of that. The freaking Cardinals are going to celebrate in Wrigley. Man that pisses me off.

BTW, will WGN cut away from the game when Bush addresses the nation tonight?

I don't think they will considering they are a cable network that's not really a news network aside from local news.
