Exactly. Hollandsworthless, Sosa, or Burnitz? I think that's a no-brainer. I wish people would get off Burnitz's case and realize who we could have had in right this year.

 

One thing you have to realize is I didn't like Burnitz when he was in Milwaukee. There's nothing I'm saying now that I didn't say about him four or five years ago. Heck, I don't rip on him that much, I do think he's crappy, but as I said, I said the same thing way back when he was in Milwaukee.

Walker can. Remember we're only talking about a game or two here and there, maybe 6-7 games a year. Holla and Walker could cover that assignment.

Corey fans and the fans boo him. I really don't think this was a good time to feed Corey to the animals. The fans are on edge as it is and he has always been a whipping boy for them. It's sad.

 

Maybe the organization wants what happened to Sosa to happen to Corey?

Hill put more wood on the ball than CPatt, maybe he should just go up there and try to make contact. It looks as if hes tryin too hard to swing "straight" and not seeing the ball come in.

I'd feel better about that if Hairston weren't on the DL. I can't remember seeing Hollandsworth playing 1B in a Cub uniform. Why doesn't Dusty ever put him there to spell Lee.

Another nice play by Nomar. Maybe HE could pitch? :D His BA is bad enough to look as if it belongs to a pitcher...

I doubt that is the case. Corey is not a jerk and he certainly isn't a cheater or quiter. I do think he will be traded in the off-season. That's just my opinion.

That's a good point... can we expect a lot of changes this off season? or is hendry gonna play the collapse to an overused bench, and injured starters? also, what kind of free agents are lined up for the off season? or is it too early to tell?
