not sure if it was mentioned but is it just me or was that a a-hole thing for Casey to tag up and go to 3rdj, up by 8 freakin runs??????

I don't think so. Why stop trying to score runs? I know it's unlikely the Cubs come back...but the game's not over yet. I believe that until the last out is made, a team should never try to stop scoring. If it upsets the Cubs, maybe the Cubs shouldn't play so bad.

I don't know how the fans at Wrigley can still cheer, even if it is for the 7th inning stretch.

I'm drunk and I still haven't cracked a smile in the last two hours, let alone a cheer.

That's because you're watching the game and not talking on your cellphone with your buddy two sections over.

I totally agree. Just because another team sucks doesn't mean you should stop playing fundamental baseball.

I love bringing Wood into the game. Lets see if we can create another surgical issue using his arm in meaningless games.

It's not like his salary is over 10% of the team payroll or anyting.

ps I take back saying no one is funny here anymore. I haven't laughed this hard in weeks.

This season isn't complete without totally destroying Wood, Z, and Prior.

This whole season has done more damage to my liver than any damage that it's done to Wood's arm.

Hey, you're right! Maybe I should work on shrinking him down under that 5'0" mark!
