"Game over, man. Game over!"

"What are we gonna do now, huh?"

"Why don't we start a minor league system, build up some players?"

"That little Twins team does better than us with no stars, and NO PAYROLL!"

"Why don't you put them in charge?!?"

"Oh yea sure, with those Cardinals and Astros in our division? You can count us out!"

"I guess we can just count the Cubs out of everything, is that it?"

"That's right man. You go out and win with Dusty. You go."

I love bringing Wood into the game. Lets see if we can create another surgical issue using his arm in meaningless games.

If it is indeed true that Wood will be shut down soon (when the Cubs fall further out), this does make some sense. You need to see if Kerry can be an effective reliever. There is a possibility (I hope a slim one) that Kerry can no longer be a starter with his arm troubles. We're stuck with him next year, let's see if he could have some utility in this role. It looks like it's not the type of injury that can get much worse with use.

I was just being sarcastic. I realize they brought him in to get some work. However, I think they are just guessing that the work will not continue to hurt his arm. As such, there is a degree of risk beyond your normal relief pitcher.

Poorly done, but it gets the point across

Well I took a little more time on mine

Short enough for everyone?

I still like Nomar's knee socks. That was the highlight of tonight's game for me.

I like Nomar getting a hit...but I really hope they don't score.

I cut macias out, blanked out the background, fixed the numbers, then reinserted him in, scaled him down, fixed the shadow, etc.

You should put in his full size head, though. he'd look stupider that way.

With a gradated background like that, the rubber stamp tool is your friend!
