So is Nomar just too exhausted from his one start that he has to sit out today? This will really help him get back his swing.

Dude, Neifi's bat can't get cold. We need to keep him hot. He's saved us. This team would be 15 games under .500 without Neifi.

I think they had planned on him sitting today and starting tommorow. They don't want to push him too much too soon.

As Fox says, you can rehab all you want, but until you get in-game action it's just not the same. of course, that's ignoring that fact that he's been playing for the last week in the minors. morons.

For what it's worth, Dusty also said, during the pregame, that Nomar is available later in the game.

But only to pinch hit for A-Ram or something smart like that..

So, what's the excuse for not starting Murton all week?

Macias is a better fielder.

I would love to hear Dusty's reasoning on this. I'm sure it would be another classic Dusty quote.

Mets had no XBH hits yesterday

Looks like Maddux is getting the same strike zone Glavine got yesterday so that's good.

Haha. This is funny. It's obvious that we're all extremely peeved by this team, but yet we keep watching them. What's wrong with us?

Every inning of Cub baseball is totally excruciating. If we're pitching, we're sure to let at least 2 runners on base, allow a run, and make an error, and when we're up to bat, we're lucky to get a baserunner every 3 innings.

I love how they are making a huge deal about Maddux's numbers against the Mets. :x

Yeah, they're confusing our Maddux with the mid-1990s Maddog

Except the stats they showed on Maddux vs. the Mets were from 2001 on..
