I'm going to make this statement, but I don't think the Cubs will ever make it to the World Series as long as Dusty is at the helm.

i'd go a step further and say we'll never make it back to the playoffs with dusty "managing."

As I been one of the fans that been saying that the Cubs have a good chance of the WC, I backtrack that statement, and I agree with you. I do not see the Cubs making it to the playoffs, at all.

No Buck and McCarver???

Maybe things are going to turn around today.

Buck and McCarver are in St. Louis smooching the cards, I'm sure.

God I hate Fox. If I wasn't such a sucker for pain I probably wouldn't watch this game today. Another day of McCarver and Buck. Oh Joy!!! :wall:

Edit: Crap, we have to listen to Morgan tommorow night. God hates us.

We don't merit McCarver and Buck (LOL) who no doubt are doing the Braves vs Cardinals. We get the scary looking second fiddle FOX guys.

Way to start out, Fox. Lee is hitting so well because Ramirez is hitting behind him. Except he hasn't all season. Morons.

, I was came here just to say that. And also when Lee was "DLEE/GOD" earlier this year Aramis wasn't hitting for crap.

Dusty already said no Murton this weekend. He was going to start today before the Mets switched to Seo.

And Dusty doesn't have a clue. Murton should be starting, plain and simple. I've grown weary of his ridiculous philosophy, is half-cocked ideas, and his horrible managing skills.

It's time for a change. Dusty must go.

Ok...NOW I'm upset...First the Cubs aren't on Fox because I live in STL...that I can deal with...what stinks is that they aren't on MLBTV because they are being broadcast Nationaly...incredible. Well...at least I don't have to watch them suck today.

Go out and enjoy life, while I sit in my dark apartment and contemplate strangling someone.

time for the Mets to score

Any guesses on how many 1st-inning runs the opposing team will score today? I say 2.

So is Nomar just too exhausted from his one start that he has to sit out today? This will really help him get back his swing.

I think they had planned on him sitting today and starting tommorow. They don't want to push him too much too soon.

So, what's the excuse for not starting Murton all week?

For what it's worth, Dusty also said, during the pregame, that Nomar is available later in the game.
