Oddly enough, I was thinking Dusty should bring in Blanco after the bases were loaded, because Wuertz throws a lot of balls in the dirt. I don't think Hank would have brain farted like that.

fixed. He did absoultely terrible today in everything...couldn't play fundamental offense and that play to end the game will be the joke of the year. Absolutely pathetic. I really hope Hank is starting tomorrow.

I can't say I'm really angry. Its more being disappointed, having high expectations of a team, only to have them shattered. Thats what I'm personally feeling.

Shouldn't Barrett have just held onto the ball? The bases were loaded; where's Burrell going to go? If he touches 1B, you just step on home, if he sits between 1st and home, toss it to Lee and have Lee run him back or throw back home if Rollins comes down the line.

 

Barrett is not a good catcher, and he basically botched 2 easy plays on one pitch there. No reason for him not to catch the ball clean, and no reason for that stupid throw to ARam, who wasn't even close to 3B.
