I love DLee like everyone else, but I feel his time is over with. He doesen't look the same.

I think he's hurt which is affecting his swing.

1-2-3 inning

You have got to be kidding me. There are words I want to say, that I would probably get banned for.

You know that every player slumps at some point in the season right? Even Pujols.

Yeah but Lee looks to be slumping/injured.

I think hes hurting pretty badly, hes just not telling anyone. Of course its simply presumptiousness on my part, but its a logical conclusion.

I'm so happy we haven't faced Houston or St Louis in a rough strech of our season.

6 pitches?!

That's the most efficient inning I've seen this year from the Cubs!

Doesn't Dempster have like a 6 pitch save?

Ya but his 41 pitch save yesterday cancels it out

Dusty claims he doesnt like players who clog the bases, but the Cubs never seem to steal even with fast-ish guys like Lawton, C-Patt, DLee, and Hairston.

I think hes done being the power guy he was at the begainning of the year. He doesen't look close to being the same hitter.

Of course its just an opinion, I could be totally wrong, I hope I am wrong.

Hes not gonna hit 400 all year long....

If you watch real close at the Inning where all 3 balls were hit to Walker, you will see on one of them that DLee had to reach pretty good he grimmaced a good bit.

D-Lee's average is going to drop a lot even if he bats .300 after the ASB. 1 for 3 is a bad day for D-Lee. Thats too hard to keep up.

Neifi with a stellar two-pitch AB.

But Dusty will let him sink the team, because he saved us early. Hey I got no problem giving him props for his month of april and one week of may and his defense. But he might be the worst player in baseball over the past 3 months.

Now that you guys mention it, it also seems like Lee hasn't been getting to balls he normally gets to. Either his timing is off or he has to make his dive slower to compensate for the injury
