The Astros will never lose another game, EVER!! Until the end of time. Since I've been Costanza lately I figure everything I say; the opposite will happen.

If the Cubs could somehow pull out a victory tonight they should gain a game on the Astros tonight. Vazquez vs. Ezequiel Astacio, huge pitching mismatch in the Diamondbacks favor, in fact, I believe there's an excellent chance Vazquez shuts out the Astros.

Never doubt the Astros. Last week it was Pedro Martinez vs. Ezequiel Astacio. Pedro pitched like his usual self, but Astacio mowed down the Mets. The Astros won that game.

At some point the better pitcher is going to win out, why not tonight?

I'm not doubting you. I'm just pointing out that the team with the "better" pitcher doesn't always win.

Anyone else just have 2003 NLCS flashback?

There was no NLCS in 2003. None. Never happened. Wasn't a World Series that year either.

No problems with the lineup. I've given up trying to understand why Dusty does certain things. Go Cubs!!!!

The point I was trying to make was that the Mets should have lit Astacio up. I'm talking 5-7 runs off him.

Yeah, since we all know Dusty single handedly propelled the Cubs to those winning seasons.
