Maybe if enough fans at Wrigley hold up "Fire Dusty" signs, Hendry will get a clue that this man is hurting the Cubs chances to make the playoffs.

just got the game on, Holla is playing well I see

Yes, he's improved his 3-23 against Tomko

Are you serious? Is it that bad? And he's starting against him? Oh man, my rage towards Dusty grows by the day.

But the Cubs are winning!!!

good teams do not squander those chances like we have all season. Absolutely pathetic how we could not get a single run in with a runner at 3rd and nobody out.

"Average" teams score 1.54 runs in that situation...

I'm sure that others have gone over Matt's numbers. Just in case, Matt could go 0 for his next 14 and still be hitting .300.

man on 3rd, no one out and we fail to score. This will bite us in the rear.

it's to the point where if I were the opposing pitcher, I would contemplate putting a runner at third with less than 2 out every single inning against the Cubs. it virtually guarantees the Cubs won't score that inning.

Bunch of morons man. Man on 3rd nobody out and they can;t get the run. I'm never confident in the Cubs getting the run in from 3rd because they choke in those instances. Holla is terrible and he should not be an everyday MLB starter.

I loved Holla last year and I think he did a great job coming off the bench and getting the occasional start. This year, due to Dusty's horrible misuse, I like him less and less every AB.

That is a very crowded company you are in

I know, and it grows by the day. I don't want to hate Holly, but I can't like him while he's sucking it up like this.

perfect example of why it kills me when people arge that a strikeout is "just another out", its not. If Hollandsworth puts the ball in play, chances are good the run will score. I know Burnitz didn't test it with one out on Ramirez fly ball. But with one down maybe he goes. A ground ball to SS or 2b would score him too.

Strikeouts suck!
