I hope that's it for Z, 112 pitches and he's up first... just hope ?? (novoa)/Demp can hold this down.

 

hate to see the reaction from this statement, but with the hitters due up in the top of the 8th it looks like a decent time to use remlinger. i don't want to see him overuse novoa like he did weurtz earlier in the year.

So we line out hard to everyone, and they bloop single our asses. Great.

 

 

deja vu. not watching today, but my impression last night was that if one of the ten screaming line drives the Cubs hit finds green, the game is a blowout.

I loved Holla last year and I think he did a great job coming off the bench and getting the occasional start. This year, due to Dusty's horrible misuse, I like him less and less every AB.

 

That is a very crowded company you are in :evil:

 

I know, and it grows by the day. I don't want to hate Holly, but I can't like him while he's sucking it up like this.

 

There's no reason to dislike Hollandsworth for it though. He's going out there and playing the same way he did last year.

It's not his fault that he's being overused.

Just stoppin in to say what a GREAT move it was to leave Zambrano in for the 8th inning.. after 112 pitches.. :roll:
