I for one don't want them to win, since that only encourages Dustbin. I've convinced myself that this team will do nothing this year, and the thing we need more than anything right now to get rid of Mr. Toothpick is a good ten game losing streak. Hovering around .500 simply will not get it done.

 

Besides, you never know how changing a manager mid-season may jump-start a team (See: 2003 Marlins, 2004 Astros)

 

We must endure the pain of watching them lose to see them successful again under a new manager. Think of it as cutting off a limb. You don't want to do it, but in the end sometimes it just has to be done.

I get the feeling if Murton walks, and Alou brings in the righty, that Neifi will be PH'ing for Cedeno.

 

I'm hoping I'm wrong.
