God, we suck. How is it that we have the same problem, year after year? We have to wait on a home run to score more than once or twice.

 

I'm sick of getting owned by inferior teams at home.

 

Short answer: Because they're the Cubs.

 

Long answer: Because the organization values the same general type of player year after year, and makes no kind of attempt to change the orgainzational philosophy to include a high OBP/high walk/line drive type of hitter.

True, but if he is going to have any success, it's going to be as a starter. Personally, I think he should (and likely will) be traded.
