Wood tends to give up those solo shots.

He's the pitching equivelant of Corey Patterson

*ducks*

(only kidding...)

no he isn't he's white. No way will Chicago turn on him like it has our players the past 4 years.

Are you implying Cubs fans are racist?

kinda makes one wonder.

Alf

Sosa

Hawkins

Patterson

but as pointed out Hundley got it bad.

That may not be the best accusation to make in this thread.

One of the few comments Chip Caray made that I ever agreed with was that Craig Wilson is Kerry's identical twin. Not as much anymore without the goatee, but still.

Has anyone mentioned Craig as an option for LF from our AAA team from Pittsburgh? And is there any reason why he wouldn't be shopped? What's his contract status?

Is it just me or have we had a ludicrous number of balls hit off the top of the wall these last 2 games? It seems like we've had 5 or 6 near HR's.

Jerry ground out

Now Fogg is up to 30 pitches (after throwing only 4 in the first). Good job Kerry now make it stand up.

need a 1-2-3 inning.

Lee's flyout, Burnitz's double, and Wood's double all would have been out on a normal July day. Of course, if that wind wasn't blowing in, it would feel about 10 degrees warmer.

just came home...glad to hear about the 2 out rally. I was listening in the car and Pat and Ron said that Burnitz nearly hit a homer as well. Wind really must be howling in today.
