While it's hard to get excited about Wood dominating the Pirates, it's great to see 0 walks.

Also another reason to get excited is the Cubs have completely owned the Pirates.

16 out of 18 games. 7 out of 8 in Wrigley.

Another beautiful 1-2-3 inning for Wood.

The Pirates and the Fish. Kerry has definitely improved. The old Kerry would have been out of the game in 5 1/3. Fewer strikeouts means lower pitch counts and with some luck, he may pitch into the 8th inning.

in the bullpen early again...I like it...maybe we should have done this all year...

It does help to have two studs back, and one whiffer in the minors, and OBP guys at the top.

I'm almost to the point where I refuse to believe that this team is the same team that went through that streak a few weeks ago. Its amazing what putting people in the right spots and letting them play will do.

Mark Cuban is hilarious.

"I love Chicago...All the drunks out on the street and in the bars...nothing better"

HA!

Pat and Ron are cracking up.

I'd like to see Kerry do what Prior did yesterday... 8 solid innings. Then get a young guy in there to seal the deal, and chalk another one up in the standings. We'll see how the next inning goes though.

Finally Todd bloops one to stop the streek at a dozen.

Stone is overly perplexed about why Hollandsworth can't be a regular starter.

I change my mind about Cuban as Cubs owner, he's fun.

If we have the good Neifi right now all I can say is: Ronny's young, he'll get his turn eventually. We're trying to win not keep the kids happy. Edited by Blueheart05
