Is it okay if Hairston hits a granny? :D

Ah, no matter how bad things get, at least we can clobber the Buccos.

Inside the ballpark HR!!!!

Shut up. Seriously?

The 2nd base umpire signaled fair ball once they started to dig into the vines. Unfortunately, they overturned the ruling and just called it a ground rule double.

Send Cedeno back to Iowa. Hopefully by the time Neifi slumps again, Nomar will be up.

Unfortunately that would leave them without somebody who can play SS. They need to keep Ronny up unless they get another SS or Nomar returns.

I'm glad this game is on ESPN. Last time they showed Kerry to the world, ATL was battering him around Truner Field! Edited by Blueheart05

I don't get why he made that call. They didn't start digging until long after they stopped and put their arms up. I'm guessing he was busting Wilson for not lifting his arms high enough, but that should have been called a double much sooner.

Cody Ransom can do just as good of a job sitting on the bench as Cedeno. I'd be able to live with the risk of losing Ransom once Nomar is activated.

Ok...well at least i'm not the only one having issues with multiple posts.

lol.

Just a little tip. When you see the loading bar is at least shows 2 lines, just highlight your post on the message body, copy it. Then just press refresh. Normally it'll show up. It did for me.

Ya know, I really like this team more when they play this way...

Yup. That's how I got stuck. Harry Caray was one thing, but it was those rare occasions when you'd see the guys bat around on a summer's day that managed to keep hope and joy alive when I was growing up. Nothing like watching WGN. cold bottle of Coke in hand, Ryno standing on third waiting to be driven in during a rout, and the organ playing in the background.

Just when you think you're free, they pull you back in again!

I didn't see the shot of Wilson putting his arms up, but I'm guessing the umpire just had a brain cramp. (At least?) He got the call right.

Good move, taking Wood out. We should try and run five relievers out there today. Just kidding. We don't know which Maddux will show up tomorrow.

Man, Pittsburgh seemed to be a competitive team just a few weeks ago. Let's pound them the rest of the weekend.

Wuertz walking guys again.

Why, why, why is Kerry out of the game?

You don't think he's experienced another twinge? :?

Wuretz with the leadoff walk. he has to get himself together quickly. Last time we say him he walked two then gave up a three run homer..

Double play--YES

I don't mind the pen coming in. They need work after the long AS break. The pen is too long as it is and I think relievers need relatively consistent work to stay sharp. Save Kerry for his next start, I say.
