Yes with a quallifier: That he gets playing time, and, if he struggles, he gets sent down, not just benched.

I wouldn't mind him being called up. But Dusty playing him.. Now there's a challenge in itself. & like its said, no bench-ing him.

I always thought his name was Felix http://www.myhomecooking.net/apple-pie/apple-pie-2.jpg

But then I found it was "Pee ay"

I voted no for three reasons.

1. It means Corey is really done

2. It means the Cubs are really done

3. He is not that good yet. But he may be some day.

I voted no, with the caveat that a September callup (after the Djaxx win the Southern League playoffs) is OK.

This is my opinion. I was getting disturbed by the number of people saying Pie should be brought up in place of Greenberg or whoever. I'm glad it looks like the majority of the board agrees with me.

Yes he is good, but we all can see what happened to Corey. I just want to know what the opinion around here is.

He is not Corey, the argument of keeping him in the minors because of how Corey turned out should stop. All players are different. Just because they were both touted as 5 tool players who play CF does not mean they share the same gene pool, etc.

You simply cannot say "he sucked so the other guy will too".

Well, it would be nice to see him in the September call-ups.. I expect Kelton, Hill, Koronka, and Pie to be called up in September.

But they are both toolsy and young athletes with good swings who need to work on their pitch selection. I think its a fair comparison, and think Corey does illustrate what happens when you bring a guy like that up before he has really learned the strike zone.

I wouldn't mind if he played everyday. I wouldn't lead him off, though. Although, Hairston is doing well right now and I want him playing and definitely don't want Walker out.

I want him up in September for defense and speed, and for the simple fact that every team he touches wins gold.

You realize that Dusty would sub in Macias in the 7th as a defensive replacement if he started, right?
