I found the forums he linked his blog to, and he's been kicked off like 4-5 forums. He said he trolled on southsiders.net 7 times, was booted from soxtalk, and got kicked off WSI. He goes by the name "The G-Man" He was also kicked off redsoxnation.net Some of the content is good, but he's been attacking southsiders left and right since he was banned from their site, according to these forums he's trolled on.

    It's that time of year where fans start jumping bandwagons. What bandwagons, if any are you jumping on? I'm jumping on the Twins, Indains, A's, and Red Sox right now. I don't want the White Sox to win the World Series, and I'm pulling for Boston b/c I HATE the Yankees.

    Braves. No doubt. He won his ring w/ them, 3 Cy Youngs, and 11 Gold Gloves, plus all his years in his prime were w/ Atlanta, plus he left Tribune on bitter terms in 1992.

    Give it some time. They've been on the market since November and have already cut profits of the entire Microsoft corporation by 5%. Also, is there a way we can make this site viewable only in Mozilla? That would rock. And lose the 34% who use IE (which is probably actually around 64%)? It is NEVER smart to tailor a site to be used by a specific browser. You can download Mozilla for free, and it only takes a few minutes AT MOST if you have a slow connection, instantly if you have a fast connection. Not everyone has the luxury of picking their browser of choice, due to work constraints. Here's the site where you can download Mozilla: http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/ You can do it at home. And talk to your boss if you don't have Mozilla at work. That site talks about the benifits of Mozilla. Whatever. You shouldn't even be on this site at work. This is why we have bad production. I read American corporations lose $3 Billion a year in productivity due to workers not working and doing things like this.

    He hit those HR's b/c he was on the juice. I'm sure that if there was no drug testing he'd still hit 50-60 HR's a year.

Contract status: Jeromy Burnitz: signed deal for 2005 season worth 5M on 2/2/05- he will make 4.5M in 2005- + the deal includes a Mutual Option for 2006 worth 7M or a 500K buyout- + he will not receive the buyout if the team exercises the option and he declines it- + he can earn 250K in performance bonuses based on games started each year Agent: Howard Simon Service Time: 8.100 Tribune will pick up his option, IMO.

    I don't know about 1st-ballot, but he deserves to be there. He's Cuban and the Cubs gave up on him too early. It would be a kick in the face to Castro, and to Tribune. You'd kill 2 birds w/ one stone.

    AMEN! I don't have cable, but I get plenty of games on WGN. I don't mind giving up some games on TV, as long as my Cubbies are in the playoffs, b/c then I can watch all the games on FOX and WGN will do a simalcast for the games ESPN carries.

    You're forgetting plenty of head-to-head w/ the teams ahead of us, and no more trips to Atlanta and Miami this year, thus avioding potential hurricane disasters, like last year.

    That idiotic record was 30HR-100RBI w/ 5 teams. And We got Lee in return for Choi. I'm just botherd by the headline in the Tribune after the trade: "Choi Will be Great, but Lee Already is"

    W/ Wood and Williamson set to come off the DL next week, who should the Cubs move to make room for them? IMO, Rem has to go. DL him, so that way, Williamson can take his spot on the post-season roster, the way the Cubs did last year w/ Ramon Martinez. Send Mitre down as well. He's undependable. And DFA Macias for Nomar. What do you think?
