You know with us facing 2 all stars in a row I actually think we'll beat one of them to further make this loosing streak look absolutly ridiculous.

*sigh*

What part of "Neifi is literally the worst leadoff hitter in the league" does Dusty not understand?

Posted

You know it's going to be bad but you just can't prepare yourself.

That's a AAA lineup. At best. And only because Ramirez and Walker are in it.

Thanks a lot. I've promised to change the Robot Devil icon if D Lee plays at the All Star Game (This was before he was voted in), but I love the guy - it was his "how deliciously ironic" that did it. I think I prefer him to Death on Family Guy... rest assured, however, its just a name. I'm neither evil nor robotic.

You'd think things couldnt get ANY worse..

I'm done with this team until major changes are made. I hope they do well, but I'm done wasting my time on a team with a manager who would trot that lineup out.

I really wouldn't mind if Dusty fell off the edge of the earth, if it meant not seeing him manage this team again.

Your new favorite team is a team that's just one game better than the Cubs??

I'm so glad I spent the $150 on MLB Extra Innings this year. So much quality baseball. At least I can watch the White Sox (ducks)

Well the fact that they could make up that many games on the cubs, says something for the character of their team, and that of ours.

I've liked the A's for a while now. And I liked them even when they were horrible and the Cubs were pretending to be good earlier this year.

They're just a lot more fun to watch. PLus, with the exception of some suspect usage patterns for Ricardo Rincon, they don't do amazing stupid things for no reason over and over again. It's quite refreshing.

The A's will likely miss the playoffs, yes, but I really enjoy watching them play. I can't say the same thing for the Cubs.

Gotcha. I'm a big Billy Beane fan, so I like the A's too.
