Non-Cub Playoff Megathread Chit-Chat

[Tangled Up in Plaid]

Ohtani has no business playing right now. Anyone with eyes can see he's f'd up.

[Derwood]

Contreras is unstoppable this game

[gflore34]

Don’t think a Ruiz HR is going to rescue the Dodgers this year.  Tanner Scott in this early is an act of desperation.

Uribe and Ashby are unhittable so it's gonna be up to Megill again.

I stand by my prediction of Megill blowing a save, may not happen tonight.  It’s in queue.

Milwaukee are winning the World Series, aren’t they? 😞

I am choosing to believe the Rays will win. But here's to the Brewers having their own 'Bartman' moment.

[Derwood]

Cubs would kill for just one Uribe in the pen. Brewers have like 7 of them

[Derwood]

Bloop after bloop after bloop

[Soul]

I also think Megill is going to give up a gaffer at some point. That insurance run was huge.

[Derwood]

Oh look, another bloop

[Soul]

Brewers doing Brewers shít

It happens so much I'm legit starting to wonder if it's a skill

[Derwood]

John Smoltz is an awful, awful color guy. Has no idea what he's saying half the time

[dfnowak]

I suggest just betting on the Brewers, b/c at least you can win some money out of it. And then if they lose, you’re still happy.

I think it is.  Otherwise, I can't explain it.

He's had the Tony Romo announcing career.

Romo was entertaining. Smoltz gets names wrong, teams wrong, stories wrong. Legit no idea what he's saying

[Soul]

Seems like Ashby has unlimited innings in him. They just trot him out there whenever and he’s good.

If there is a god, Miz, Ashby and Uribe's arms all fall off next year

[mk49]

Glory days
Well, they'll pass you by, glory days

It’s rare the best baseball team throughout the year wins the series, but maybe it’s their year.

Ashby and Uribe are human, have to think all the work is going to take a toll, right?

[gflore34]

If I'm the Dodgers I'd have a serious conversation with Ohtani about giving up pitching.  The shell we're seeing now had it's genesis with pitching related injuries.
