Looks like we're getting Bad Boyd tonight

He hasn't looked that bad so far, but it's only 1 inning.

I'm hoping the Phillies keep losing and the Diamondbacks knock them out

I doubt the Dbacks get in. 5 back is pretty tough. Probably have to win out. And they have 2 against the Yankees and finish with SD. Would be nice, however, if the Dodger beat up on SD, so Az can close the gap some and have a reason to play the last few games.

By the time Boyd is done derwood could very well be right. I just didn’t see anything terrible in the first inning. Second inning a couple of nice plays helped.

He threw a lot of non-competitive pitches

Yeah, but he's been doing that for a while, and I think he's better so far.

To me, it looked like he wanted no part of EDLC. Other than that he was fine.

I'm happy to be wrong

Feel like the Cubs have hit a ton of warning track shots so far this series. The launch angle has been a little too high for several of these

Here's where I start getting a bit uneasy with this team, its the 4th inning,  SP looks good,  getting outs, but they only have a 1-0 lead.

If theyre not leading by 4+ runs by the 6th inning, its like it doesn't matter how good the starter was, because its those last 3-4 innings with the bullpen that going to decide the game if they dont have a biglead.

🙄🙄

Yea I find those charts funny, even the challenge percentage,  they show that saying they average 4 a game and sometimes youll see them already having 5 challenges by the 4th inning 😅
