You can definitely give it lower than a B if you think Mo Baller and Rojas are future all stars.

Hypothetical if both become all stars but the Cubs win the WS what grade does he get? I know some people still suggest the Cubs gave up too much for Chapman. And I just don’t understand that.
For the record I think the Cubs have a better chance of winning a WS then both Mo and Rojas being future stars.

Jed is a coward who’s afraid to take risks. He takes a calculated risk and it’s an overpay. That’s how risks work, and the  Cubs are better positioned to make a deep run in October by a country mile compared to a week ago. I don’t understand how anyone can criticize Jed for how he handled the deadline.

I would’ve liked to trade Jonathon Long and Kevin Alcantara for Clay Holmes instead of Rojas myself, but unfortunately someone would’ve beaten that offer.

It’s an A from me. They needed pitching and they got guys who can impact this roster in a very positive way.

Same, pitching has been fortified very well, and they even got a guy they can finally platoon Happ with.  Even give PCA the day off.

I feel great about this team down the stretch.
