Chase Meyer is interesting. I don't have the full story but it appears as though he was removed from the WVU program this spring.

Meyers is probably my favorite pick. Not because he's the best, but I just love this kind of pick. Kid gets tossed off WVU for hard-to-understand circumstances (a program who has a history of doing this recently), but offers big stuff out of the bullpen. 

Cheap cost of entry in the 9th and has leverage upside.

They're capped at $150k in rounds 11-20. Nothing screams he deserves more than that. He wasn't on anyone's top 500.

Why will they need more money with a true junior? If he doesn’t take the cubs offer doesn’t he go into next years draft as a senior? That isn’t a good place to be, is it? Or do I have this wrong?

No, you have it right. He might push his way into the 3rd/4th next season by going back to school, but he loses a year of development with a professional baseball team with the risk that he blows his arm out next year and ends up selling insurance three years from now.
