Jeez, gone are the days when Aroldis Chapman throwing 100+ was something incredible.  Now it’s just something a whole bunch of guys do.

and all their arms are falling off

I wish Marquee would stop showing replays when our guys don’t challenge calls they should have challenged. Why piss us off even more.

Yep..

Cubs can get on base, they just struggle to get that big hit afterwards most of time

Call me crazy, but what’s wrong with playing a little small ball to move runners and get guys across? They rely on hitting for slug too much, and it’s equivalent to NBA teams like Boston, living and dying by the three.

Just do some different horsefeathers instead of the same old same old

1st and 2nd 0 outs: Bregman with the pop out, Happ looks at a called third strike and Suzuki strikes out on a slider off the plate away. Some things never change.

Slider to Seiya looked in the zone to me

Wonder where cubs 345 hitters compare to others with RISP

For me personally, nothing,  im a fan of small ball, especially when guys/team are struggling.

SB, hit n runs, bunt for hits are awesome when executed

I know he’s good and it’s meatbally to think like this, but my horsefeathers goodness happ constantly striking out looking is getting real obnoxious.

Thanks, I figured it was bad, but not this awful.

I know Counsell dont have much to choose from, but eventually he needs to try something different other than Bregman, and Happ at 3-4
