I truely do not understand the whole bru-ha-ha anyways. And I truely do not understand how someone would waste time voting over the 25 votes you are allowed.

 

D. Lee is the better defensive first basemen (at the current time) and he is have the best first half. Albert will be able to DH and the lineup will not be any different. So, all has worked out well.

 

Now if this happens next year than I can understand the issue.

I completely agree with this. Now that the all star game counts, wouldn't it make more sense to have the better fielder out at 1B? Especially if they are both going to start anyway? DLee is a gold glover. I see no downside to him starting over Pujols. Not when they both get to hit anyway.

Agree with the sentiments here, but now what are we going to do about Piazza behind the plate? Big liability! And right now I don't foresee Rolen and Eckstein helping out offensively. I wish M. Cabrera would have made the starting team; he would be another impact bat.
