Macias is a good defensive 3B, and maybe the only option the Cubs have there.

your kidding right?

anyways, Cedeno is an option at 3rd but why would Baker give a young talented kid 2 starts in a row? :x :x :x

At least we don't have to deal with Vidro, Johnson, and Church. Will Johnson or Church play at all this weekend? I know Vidro is headed for a rehab stint.

You know it's bad when you read the starting lineup and can't stop laughing.

does anyone think we are a playoff team looking at that lineup?

its these kinda days that we come out and everyone hits (except corey) and we score lots of runs. Anybody think we put Corey at leadoff just to get him out of the way early and not later like 6 where he could potentially end a rally?

The funny thing is, odds are that eventually Corey and Neifi will both get a hit or two on the same day and it will justify Dusty's piss poor managing decisions

if they both got hits back to back, Lee would probably faint at the sight of two potential RBI's not including the pitcher being on base

How about Neifi at third and Cedeno at short?

This lineup can be described in one word: Putrescence

I think all of us would faint if we won the lottery. Pretty much the same odds. :D

Any guess at runs scored?

I am saying 5-3 Cubs win, Dusty feels smart.

Sadly enough, this is a good point. Our poor pitchers really never know what they are going to get and probably go out there trying to pitch perfect because of it.

Well it looks as if it is blowing across left to right, so that screws both my theories up.

I just wanted to say that Bill Holden rocks. I am so glad he made it. What a heartwarming pregame ceremony. Let's go Cubs, let's go bad lineup!
